Yep, I finally broke down. So here's my blog. I've never really had a legit blog before, only the middle school ones where you complain about friends, give hints to crushes, and search for hours for a new background. So I would most certainly call myself a beginner at this!
This weekend I did two shoots filled with great fun and catching up. On Saturday I shot Jenna. Jenna is my best friend, Courtney's little sister. I always love shooting her because she's super photogenic and she is perfect for soft portraiture. I decided to photograph her using window light bringing out her beauty through natural lighting . Oh, and also because I didn't get to school early enough to check out lighting equipment (as usual!).
I had done another shoot two days before this one and I tried going for a wintery look. I liked how the pictures came out but when I was brainstorming ideas for Jenna's shoot, I thought she would be perfect to do a wintery look with.
The outside shooting didn't last very long. I got the frames I needed and didn't shoot extra. Poor Jenn had wind gusting in her face causing her eyes to tear which caused her eye makeup to go every which way!
It was great being at the Thomas residence again. Even though Court wasn't there I still had a great time catching up with Jenn and Mrs. Thomas. Court is coming home on the 4th and i'm so excited! 1. Because I miss her ALOT. and 2. Because I still have her Christmas gift!
On Sunday, Mom and I traveled 2 hours to Boston. Of course I slept the whole way :) We were meeting Anthony at the Prudential Center for a Fashion based shoot. Anthony has been a great friend for years. He's one of the most interesting people I know and he keeps getting fiercer and fiercer. He is currently studying at the Boston Conservatory. Watch out for him! This handsome devil is certainly going places!
Now I'm back to school, shooting and editing, shooting and editing. I had a rough time in Commercial Studio this evening and gave up on the whole Reflective Metal shoot. Oh well, tomorrow's another day!
